"If you had to guess what the top downloaded iOS app of all time was, what would you say? You'll probably get it. It's an obvious one. It's Facebook. Number two is fairly easy too: Pandora. But did you know that number three is the Google Mobile App? I wonder what Apple thinks of that?"

Not surprising that the Facebook app is the number one free app, on the iphone anyway. The number one free app on the iPad is Pandora. How about the paid apps? For the iPhone and iPad, Doodle Jump and SoundHound top the lists respectively. The list is found within iTunes and you can get there here if you want to see what else made the lists.

"It's December, which means that print and digital magazines are gearing up to write their lists of the "Top 10" in a thousand different categories. TIME, the magazine that seemingly started this end-of-year tradition, has gone crazy this year, with their web site listing 50 top 10 lists. Fortunately for those of us at TUAW, we were able to glean an Apple-related story from the Time list-of-lists."

The iPad was numero uno on the list of ten gadgets, with the MacBook Air 11-inch screen at number three, the iPhone 4 at number six and the 2nd generation Apple TV at seventh. You can find all the lists from Time located here, but it does seem like they went "Top Ten Crazy" with the lists this year. Oh, and if you are curious, they even did one for the "Top Ten iPhone Apps" this year.
